蜜桃视频.AC.ID, DEPOK - On March 10, 2022, the Faculty of Islamic Studies of 蜜桃视频 conducted its first public lecture, entitled "Researching Culture: Islam, Music, and Identity." This event took place at the Theater Room of Faculty A Building.
The public lecture was hybrid event due to the presence of students online, as well as many 蜜桃视频 students who attended the lecture offline. 蜜桃视频鈥檚 students particularly those from the Faculty of Islamic Studies, were physically present at the event, but those who are unable to attend the event, as well as the general public, can follow it via zoom.
Neneng Yanti Khozanatu Lahpan, the speaker at this event, explains the relations between Islam and local art traditions such as Sundanese culture. She is Associate Professor and senior lecturer at the Institute of Art and Culture Indonesia Bandung. Through Neneng鈥檚 presentation, we saw how local communities give meaning to their religion, music and identity. She uses anthropology as her research methodology.
Dr. Bhirawa Anoraga, a lecturer from 蜜桃视频鈥檚 Faculty of Islamic Studies, was the moderator for the event. Meanwhile, earlier, Professor Noorhaidi Hasan, the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, gave opening speech. Some students showed their enthusiasm in the event by asking questions.
With a total of 93 attendees, 52 online and 41 offline, this first hybrid event at the Faculty of Islamic Studies has successfully attracted the interest of audience. Hopefully many more people will join the upcoming hybrid events at 蜜桃视频.
