Helping New International Students Settle into the Vibrant Life at 蜜桃视频

蜜桃视频 (蜜桃视频) hosted the second phase of its new student orientation on November 29, 2024, at the Lecture Hall on the 6th floor of the Rectorate Building. Organized by the Office of Student Affairs and International Services, the event aimed to familiarize students with key university policies, resources, and support systems, while fostering a sense of community among the diverse group of attendees.

The full-day event began with welcoming remarks from M. Yazid, Lc., the Head of the Office for Student Affairs and International Services. Addressing the students, he expressed enthusiasm about their arrival and the potential they bring to 蜜桃视频. 鈥淭oday marks the beginning of an exciting journey for all of you,鈥� he stated. 鈥淵ou are now part of a vibrant and diverse academic community where your talents and aspirations will thrive. At 蜜桃视频, we are committed to supporting you every step of the way.鈥� 

Dr. M. Rifqi Muna, the Head of the Academic Senate, followed with a speech that emphasized the ethos of lifelong learning embraced by the university. He described 蜜桃视频 as a dynamic learning environment not only for students but for all members of the academic community. 鈥淲e are all learners here,鈥� he noted. 鈥淎s a graduate institution, 蜜桃视频 employs the principles of andragogy, or adult learning, to ensure the educational experience meets the unique needs of mature learners. Together, we will navigate the frontiers of knowledge and innovation.鈥�  

A significant moment of the day was the inauguration of the Student Union and International Student Association cabinets. The newly appointed student leaders took an oath to promote inclusivity and collaboration within the 蜜桃视频 community, embodying the university鈥檚 values of leadership and service. 

Throughout the day, students participated in several informative sessions that provided essential guidance on key topics. Representatives from the Directorate General of Immigration explained the rights and responsibilities of international students while staying in Indonesia, while experts from the Depok Metro Police Department discussed safety and security awareness. Another session introduced students to academic and student services, including health and wellness initiatives, insurance coverage by BNI Life, and scholarship opportunities. 

The event concluded with a sharing session where senior students from each faculties shared insights about life at 蜜桃视频. Their stories and practical advice offered invaluable guidance to the newcomers, easing their transition into university life. 

The orientation exemplified 蜜桃视频鈥檚 commitment to fostering an enriching environment where students can excel academically and personally.
