蜜桃视频.AC.ID, DEPOK - Joko Susilo, a dedicated student from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (蜜桃视频), recently took the stage as a speaker at the 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Development Goals (ICSDG2023) held from December 5 to 6, 2023, at the Royale Chulan Penang, Malaysia.
The conference, organized by the South East Asia Sustainability Network (SEASN) in collaboration with the Centre for Global Sustainability Studies (CGSS) at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), aimed to reinforce the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) under the theme "Reinforcing SDGs Implementation for a Sustainable Future: Ensuring Inclusivity for All."
At the forum, Joko Susilo shared his case study on "The Role of the Central Bank of Indonesia in Empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through Financial Inclusion: A Case Study in Perkumpulan Tenaga Kerja Purna & Keluarga (PERTAKINA)." With insights into the unique obstacles and potential for growth within Indonesia's MSME sector, Susilo's research highlights the importance of financial inclusion for this vital part of the economy in Indonesia.
Susilo expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support from 蜜桃视频, extending his appreciation to Dean Prof. Dian Masyita and his supervisor Prof. Ugi Suharto. The ICSDG2023 brought together approximately 135 presenters from diverse fields related to Sustainable Development Goals, including social, environmental, governance, and economic aspects. Participants represented countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, Singapore, New Zealand, Thailand, and Turkey, among others.
Reflecting on his experience at the conference, Susilo expressed enthusiasm about the passionate discussions that took place. "As a delegate from a developing country, I had the opportunity to share insights on the challenges and opportunities we face. The vibrant atmosphere and diverse perspectives at the conference inspired me to contribute actively to a sustainable future," explained Joko Susilo.
The conference served as a platform for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange best practices, address issues of social, economic, and environmental inequality, and explore innovative approaches to accelerate progress toward a more sustainable and inclusive future.
